Inevitable 3rd generation remake.
This is in general because it doesn't exist yet. =P
Anyway, what features would you like to see in the Ruby/Sapphire remakes?
And feel free to offer some name suggestions for these games as well. xD
I'd like new starter Pokemon.
Sorry but I just don't like Mudkip, Torchic, or Treecko (sp?) all that much. =/
But I know that they'd never give us different starters. Sigh.

Re: Inevitable 3rd generation remake.
Treecko is spelled correctly, yes.
I would like to breed my Snivy in Black and port it over to the Hoenn remake, yes. 3G was one of my favourite generations.

Re: Inevitable 3rd generation remake.
A lot of people I know started off with the 3rd gen.
I'd like to see more interesting diving spots in the remakes. All you did with Dive was track down the evil teams with it...or just go to some plain caverns to try and catch a Relicanth.
Even something like the underwater ruins in B/W would be nice.

Yeah, the ruins would be nice. Hoenn is my fave region, and I started out with Johto =P Here's what I want to see in the remakes:
- To be able to travel to other regions, or maybe just one of them after the game has finished, just to catch new pokémon. There could be a feature where you get to choose 2 other regions out of the other 4 to go to after the game has finished and you have to start a new game to travel to different regions. That way it's a 3 region game with 2 regions featuring a stronger elite 4 and stronger gyms, plus more pokémon to catch!
- An updated Battle frontier.
- Underwater ruins, as mentioned before.
- More of a storyline and back story for Team Magma and Aqua, I loved how the teams opposed each other and that you were never the main threat to them, for once.
- A couple more areas to go to.
- More recurring characters (I.e rivals, from other games like Red or Dawn).
That's all I can think of right now.

Adding on to what Ry said, maybe an option after you defeat the E4 of those 3 regions, the other 2 open up? That would be a monster toprogram but it would have one hell of a replay value!
That'd sell the game to me, definatly. If it doesn't have some good, extra features, then I'm not buying the remake until it's really cheap. I already have Emerald and that won't break anytime soon xD
Ryan, please don't edit my post; that makes it look like I said it. And my copy of Emerald 'mysteriously disappeared' a year ago.

I'd like to see them not be remade and ignored?

But yeah, I wish they would open up regions after you beat the Elite Four but we all know that'll never happen.

*Facepalm* I'm not going to penalise you for that mistake as I've almost done it a multitude of times myself. This is why I always double check. xD

Happens to the best of us XD
It took me a while to get used to the positioning of the WARN and QUOTE buttons - they were RIGHT BY EACH OTHER.
Thank God they had entirely different interfaces XD
