The title's self-explanitory.

If you were restricted to using only one type of Pokemon OR if you had to follow a certain theme (burning foundry could be an example, a team that's composed of Steel and Fire types exclusively) then what would it be?

I would probably go for a 'mind and matter' theme.
(Psychic and Fighting types).
The reason why I'd go for this is because of the sharp contrasts between both of those types.
It'd be interesting to see them working in harmony.

See, we could create an in-game challenge thread (I'll make one if you want) and could put all types of themed teams in there to go through the game with. Personally I've only ever done one solo-type run, and that was with bug (it was so frikken' hard!), so I've not really had expierance in this sort of area.

I'm doing a mono Normal run on Platinum at the moment.
It's been quite easy. Haha.

Mind and matter. I always have a preference towards fighting and psychic types, but it would always be an uneven spread between the two. Razz

I am starting a Forest Fire (Fire/Grass) run in White and a Glacial (Water/Ice) run in Heart Gold, wish me luck.
